Join with World Animal Protection Limited and support the Universal Declaration on Animal Welfare
What is the Universal Declaration on Animal Welfare?
World Animal Protection [previously World Society for the Protection of Animals] are spearheading the Universal Declaration on Animal Welfare that calls for a global commitment to making the protection of animals a priority. The declaration would encourage governments to create or improve animal welfare laws, persuade businesses to protect animals, mobilise animal welfare supporters worldwide, and it would get people talking and thinking about animal welfare.
The World Animal Protection campaign
Animal cruelty and suffering is a global issue. Animals are sentient – they feel pain. Together, we can end their suffering.
“A sustainable future for the planet can only be achieved if both animals and people are part of the solution.”
World Animal Protection is working to get the rights of animals recognised, globally.
They recognise that animals have a right to live free from pain. They are helping the world see how important animals are to us – because millions of people depend on animals.
“Today we’re campaigning for a Universal Declaration on Animal Welfare, and over 2 million people, 330 animal groups and dozens of governments have already pledged their support.”
